Manmit Singh is a professional Tabla player and teacher based in Brunswick, Victoria, Australia. With years of dedicated study and performance in Indian classical music, Manmit brings a deep understanding of rhythm, tradition, and artistic expression to every performance and lesson.
Having trained under esteemed Tabla masters, Manmit's playing bridges the rich heritage of Indian classical music with contemporary musical landscapes. He regularly performs at concerts, festivals, cultural events, and private functions across Melbourne and Australia.
Beyond performing, Manmit is passionate about sharing the art of Tabla with students of all levels. His teaching approach emphasises proper technique, posture, and a deep understanding of Taalas (rhythm cycles) and Bols (syllables), ensuring each student builds a solid foundation.
Manmit also provides professional Tabla repair and maintenance services, and supplies quality Tablas and accessories to musicians across Australia.
